Superdraw Saturday brings two new winners

Two Western Australian tickets have taken out a share of last weekend's $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw, taking home $4 million each. The winning tickets were sold from Kardinya Park Newsagency and Cards, and Newsexpress Centrepoint in Midland.

Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said it was wonderful to see more WA players celebrate in a WA win.

"Tonight's result means the State is now home to an incredible 50 Division one winners for the year," she said.

One of the winning tickets was a Slikpik 30 belonging to a Kardinya couple. “I saw the winning numbers in the paper but I didn’t know how much we’d won until my partner went online to see the prize value,” the winner said.

The couple said they were taking some time to think about how they could use the money to help others, along with camping plans and a rather unconventional wish. “Maybe a new pair of thongs,” the man said.

“We’ll just keep trotting along, no plans to stay in a five-star hotel but we’ll be more than happy to sleep under the stars.”

By playing in the Saturday Lotto Superdraw, you've supported community groups around WA receive grants through the Lotterywest COVID-19 Relief Fund. This is supporting organisations like Give Write ensure students around the State can start the day with their own stationary, providing school packs to remote and regional communities.
