WA player wins this year’s first Set for Life

A hump day ticket for one Western Australian has set them up for the next 20 years, after matching the numbers to a Division One Set for Life prize in Wednesday night’s draw.

The ticket, purchased online, has turned into the life changing prize of $20,000 a month for the next 20 years.

Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the win is WA’s fifth Division One prize for 2023.

“It’s been great to kick off 2023 with a bang, with four Saturday Lotto winners and now our first Set for Life winner for the year,” he said.

“This is our second Set for Life win, in the space of three months, with this news following November’s win thanks to a ticket from Good News Newsagency in Kambalda.

“It would be great to see this Division One prize backed up with another WA win in tonight’s $8 million Powerball draw.”

Lotterywest is uniquely the only government owned and operated lottery in Australia, supporting the community for more than 90 years.

Tickets are available until 6pm on draw day in-store, online or via the app.
