WA player becomes Set for Life overnight

One WA player has picked up the Division One prize in last night’s Set for Life draw, taking home $20,000 each month for the next 20 years.

Lotterywest is waiting to hear from the ticket holder who is the first Division One Set for Life winner in WA this year.

The winning ticket, sold at Good News Newsagency in Kambalda, follows another big win from the Goldfields region with WA’s recent $160 million Powerball Division One ticket produced by Boulder Newsagency and Lotto.

Good News Newsagency store manager Susan Schoch was excited by the news and said there is a great buzz in the store this morning.

“It feels great to have sold the winning ticket, particularly because it has been a long time coming,” she said.

“We’d like to see a regular customer win, but everyone is happy for the winner either way.”

Lotterywest spokesperson Sarah Dawson said it was great to see our first Set for Life Division One winner in WA this year.

The winning numbers were 18, 12, 24, 20, 14, 8, 6, 39 and 38.

The next chance to win big is Thursday’s $20 million Powerball jackpot, with tickets available until 6pm on draw day in-store, online or via the app.
