Lotterywest is uniquely the only Government owned and operated lottery in Australia. This position comes with a lot of responsibility, and we wouldn't have it any other way. For over 90 years, we've led the way in the WA community through our grant making and player safety initiatives, with the purpose to operate a responsible and sustainable lottery that leaves an enduring positive impact for WA.

Lotterywest is also the employing agency for Healthway, the only State Government department dedicated to health promotion. For over 30 years, Healthway has funded projects and research to inspire Western Australians to live healthier lives.

Our leadership team

Our leadership team is made up of four business area General Managers who are led by our CEO, Colin Smith.

Grants and Community Development, led by General Manager Lorna Pritchard, are responsible for grant-making and community development activities.

Lotteries, led by General Manager Shawn Holloway, are responsible for leading marketing, sales, operational support, business and game development, and key lottery projects.

Corporate Services, led by Acting General Manager Stella Rapanaro, are responsible for financial and information services, contract management, people and culture and building facilities.

Technology Services, led by Chief Information Officer Caroline Niewiarowski-Fish, are responsible for delivering and managing the technology needs of Lotterywest as an organisation.
