The Cook Government will help Western Australian families enjoy the fun of this year's Perth Royal Show and learn more about the State's valuable agricultural sector, through a major investment to deliver discounted tickets for all ages and categories.
The $1.9 million package will assist the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia (RASWA) to deliver the eight day event and ensure ticket prices are affordable for families – providing a 25 per cent discount across all ticket categories.
A further $650,000 grant through Lotterywest will provide up to 17,000 disadvantaged people with free admission, food and ride vouchers.
