A winning weekend for WA Saturday Lotto players

A Western Australian player is now a millionaire after their Saturday Lotto ticket matched the numbers to a Division One prize worth $1.69 million.

WA’s winning ticket was purchased through Lotterywest Play Online and was one of four Division One wins across the country, with other winning tickets sold in Queensland and Victoria.

Saturday’s draw also produced 14 Division Two prizes for WA players, each worth more than $5,700.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said it had been a great weekend for WA players thanks to both Saturday Lotto and Set for Life.

“In addition to Saturday’s win, a WA player also won Division Two in Sunday’s Set for Life draw,” she said.

“Shoalwater News and Lotto sold the Set for Life Division Two winning ticket, and the player will pocket $5,000 a month for the next 12 months.”

In more good news, a Perth man visited Lotterywest HQ last week to claim a $1.6 million prize from Saturday Lotto’s draw on 28 June 2025.

The winner purchased the ticket from The Lucky Charm Morley while waiting to collect a birthday cake for a family member.

While the win is still settling in, the player said he plans to purchase a home and visit family overseas.

Saturday Lotto’s $30 million Megadraw will be held on 26 July and offers WA players a chance to join the millionaire’s list.

Tickets are available until 6pm on draw day in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App.
