Winning suburb reaches new heights

They say lightening never strikes in the same place twice but that cannot be said for one Perth retailer who has claimed two Division One wins in the same week.

Heights Lottery Centre & News located in Alexander Heights produced winning tickets in both Saturday’s $30 million Megadraw and then again in last night’s Wednesday Lotto, worth $2.1 million and $1 million respectively.

Store Owner Premji Raghavani said the store is buzzing with excitement.

“Saturday’s syndicate win was our first Division One win since I’ve owned the business and to have our second win so soon after is just fantastic,” he said.

“It’s such a great feeling to be part of this life changing experience for our customers.”

The Wednesday Lotto winning ticket was the only ticket across the country to match the winning numbers 9, 38, 44, 22, 3, 11, 25 and 8.

Lotterywest spokesperson Alana Christian said the next opportunity for players to win big is in Saturday Lotto’s $10 million special event.

“Our busiest time to buy a ticket is between 11am and noon on Saturday so make sure you get your tickets early,” she said.

Tickets are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
