Where are WA’s missing Lotto winners?

Two Division One Lotto tickets produced in Perth’s southern suburbs and worth more than $1 million in combined prize money remain missing in Western Australia.

For the last two months a Saturday Lotto ticket sold from Willetton Newsagency worth $613,000, has remained unclaimed.

A second Saturday Lotto ticket, from a draw last month, also remains unclaimed.

The ticket is worth just over half a million dollars and was sold from Winthrop Village News and Gifts.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said players who bought a ticket from either store in these draws should double check their secret hiding spots.

“As we prepare for Saturday’s $20 million Superdraw, this is another chance to urge WA players to check their tickets,” Ms Compganone said.

“As neither ticket is registered with Lotterywest, we’re unable to contact these winners to tell them the good news.

“We want to make sure we do all we can to spread the word and deliver this prize money to its rightful owner.”

WA players have a year from the date of the draw to claim their Division One prize, with all unclaimed prize money being delivered back to the local community through Lotterywest grants.

Tickets for this weekend’s $20 million Superdraw are available in-store, online or via the app until 6pm Saturday.

All available profits from Lotterywest tickets contribute to the COVID-19 Relief Fund which will help those in the community impacted.
