Wednesday Lotto creates new WA millionaire

Scarborough can celebrate a new millionaire, thanks to last night’s Wednesday Lotto draw.

The ticket, which was purchased from Doric Street Newsagency, is now worth the Division One prize of $1 million.

Plus, five WA tickets matched the numbers for Division Two prizes of more than $9,000 each.

The Division Two tickets were purchased from:

  • Guildford Newsagency
  • Mirrabooka Village Supa IGA
  • Northampton Newsagency
  • The Lucky Charm Morley
  • Lotterywest Play Online

This news comes after a West Aussie won $2.5 million in last weekend’s Saturday Lotto Superdraw.

The ticket from Good Fortune Lottery Centre in Maddington has yet to be claimed at Lotterywest HQ.

Lotterywest spokesperson Emma Rogers said thanks to West Australians playing Lotto, more than $351 million was provided to community groups across the State last financial year in the form of Lotterywest grants.

“Just like a $557,564 grant supporting Environs in documenting, protecting and managing wetlands across the Kimberley,” she said.

WA players have a chance to be the State’s next millionaire this weekend in Saturday Lotto’s special $10 million event.

Tickets are available until 6pm draw day, in-store, online and via the App.
