WA’s triple delight thanks to Set for Life

This week has seen a trio of Western Australian players become set for the year, thanks to a Division Two Set for Life prize.

In Sunday night’s draw, a ticket from The Lucky Charm Bertram matched the numbers to take home a Division Two prize which will see one player collect $5,000 a month for the next year.

Then in last night’s Monday draw, another two WA players each scored Division Two. These tickets were from Ballajura City Lottery Centre and Post Office, and a Lotterywest membership online.

In March, Set for Life introduced a new Division Two annuity prize with up to four winners being given the chance to win $5,000 a month for a whole year.

To date, 17 WA players have won the Division Two prize of $5,000 a month for a year.

The game’s Division One prize remains the same at $20,000 a month for 20 years for up to four winners.

Meanwhile, Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said Saturday Lotto’s upcoming draw will be the first to launch the exciting improvements.

“From this weekend, Saturday Lotto players have the chance to win a slice of the new and larger $5 million Division One prize pool – an increase from the $4 million offer,” Ms Compagnone said.

“Due to a change in the combination of winning numbers needed to win Division Six, it will now be easier to win a Saturday Lotto prize and the chances of picking up a prize have improved from 1-in-86 and 1-in-42.”
