WA’s scratchie hotspots revealed

With only four months left in 2023, West Australians have already taken home more than $3.5 million thanks to Scratch’n’Win Top Prizes.

This amount has been shared between 37 ticket holders across the State, from as far north as Broome, to as far south as Albany.

Lotterywest spokesperson Emma Rogers revealed that the Cities of Swan, Armadale, Bayswater, Geraldton, and Stirling have been home to the most winners this year.

“The City of Swan can boast having four Top Prize winners, and the cities of Armadale, Bayswater, Geraldton, and Stirling, are runners up, each being home to three Top Prize winners,” she said.

“Last year there were 58 Scratch’n’Win Top Prize winners in WA, and we’re hoping to surpass that number for 2023.”

Three West Aussies took home the largest Top Prizes of $300,000 each, thanks to their tickets from Jungles News & Lotto in Geraldton, Wundowie IGA Xpress, and Willetton Newsagency.

Another three WA ticket holders each won $200,000 with their scratchies from Champion Drive News in Seville Grove, Derby Newsagency, and A & LV Genovese Carbarn News in Kalgoorlie.

West Aussie fathers could be gifted a Top Prize this Sunday on Father’s Day, with a Lotterywest gift pack including three scratchies and a ticket in this weekend’s $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw.

Lotterywest gift packs are available from your local Lotterywest store until 6pm Saturday.
