WA player picks up $5.8 million jackpot prize

Western Australia is celebrating its largest Lotto win since 2018, after one lucky player took home a $5.8 million prize in tonight’s OZ Lotto jackpot.

The State’s winning ticket, worth $5,865,030, was produced at Canning Vale Newsagency and is one of two Division One winners from across the country.

It’s the largest win for WA since October 2018, when the State’s Great Southern town of Albany delivered a $10 million OZ Lotto win.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said tonight’s multi-million dollar prize, which remains unclaimed, comes only two night’s after a Perth family scooped $2 million on the Saturday Lotto Superdraw.

“The exciting news for WA players keeps coming,” Ms Compagnone said.

“Our State’s tally of Division One winners for the year has now reached 43, with almost $55 million in prizes shared.”

Over 39,000 other WA winners picked up a prize across the lower Divisions in tonight’s OZ Lotto jackpot.

WA players who supported tonight’s draw have also contributed to the Lotterywest COVID-19 Relief Fund, with all available profits made from Lotterywest tickets directed to the Fund.

 Tonight’s winning OZ Lotto numbers were 10, 27, 26, 18, 23, 32 and 36.

The next chance to win big is this Thursday in Powerball’s $20 million jackpot.

Tickets are available in-store, online or via the app until 6pm Thursday.
