WA community wins big thanks to $200 million Powerball draw

Two tickets from New South Wales and Queensland have matched the numbers to share in tonight’s $200 million Powerball Division One prize, taking home $100 million each.

Tonight’s draw also produced a Western Australian Division Two winning ticket, sold by Harvey Newsagency and worth more than $177,000.

More than 874,000 WA players won prizes across Divisions Two to Nine.

Although a WA ticket didn’t take home a Division One prize this time, $43.3 million has been raised for Lotterywest grants thanks to the seven-week Powerball jackpot run.

Lotterywest Acting CEO Jeremy Hubble said the WA community is still the winner in tonight’s draw.

“Through the outstanding support of WA players and our local retailers, Lotterywest has once again raised millions of dollars to fund essential community projects, events and initiatives across the State,” Mr Hubble said.

“Lotterywest is proud to be the only State Government owned and operated lottery in the country, where all available profits raised from games like Powerball are returned to the WA community.”

This weekend, WA players have a chance to join the millionaire’s list with Saturday Lotto’s $5 million draw.

Tickets are available in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App until 6pm draw day.
