WA community benefits from $60 million Powerball jackpot

A ticket bought in the ACT has taken out tonight’s entire $60 million Powerball jackpot.

Although no Western Australian had the winning numbers in tonight’s multimillion dollar jackpot, 225,079 local players picked up prizes across Divisions Three to Seven sharing more than $4 million.

“While we would have been thrilled for a WA ticket to have taken out the Division One prize, the good news is that more than $10 million has been raised over the five-week jackpot run to support the WA community through Lotterywest grants,” said Lotterywest spokesperson Lisa Williams.

“When you play Lotterywest games, the money stays in WA.”

Over half a million tickets were sold across WA for tonight’s Powerball jackpot.

Tonight’s winning numbers were 22, 6, 1, 16, 17, 29, 11 and 2.

The next chance for WA players to win big is in next Tuesday’s $30 million OZ Lotto draw on Tuesday 5 July.

Tickets can be bought until 6pm day of draw from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
