The hunt is on for WA’s missing millionaires

As 2023 wraps up, Lotterywest is reflecting on a fantastic year of Division One winners, however two prizes worth a total of $3.5 million are yet to be claimed in WA.

In March, a Wednesday Lotto ticket from Jackpot Lottery Centre in Mirrabooka matched numbers for the $1 million Division One prize.

Plus, a ticket from Good Fortune Lottery Centre in Maddington is worth $2.5 million thanks to Saturday Lotto’s Superdraw in September.

Lotterywest spokesperson Emma Rogers said Lotterywest is yet to hear from the winners.

“The owners of each ticket have 12 months from the draw date to claim their prizes,” she said.

“Since neither of these tickets are registered to a Lotterywest account, we have no way of contacting the winners.

“If you live near Mirrabooka or Maddington, check your wallets, glove box or any keep-safe spots, just in case a winning ticket is hiding somewhere.”

West Australia has seen the most Division One winners since 2016, with the 2023 tally sitting at 81.

“We’re hoping to see this figure grow before the end of the year, with Saturday Lotto’s $30 million Megadraw notoriously creating WA millionaires.”

Megadraw tickets are available until 6pm Saturday, in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App.
