Powerball has climbed to a whopping $80 million, the second biggest jackpot this year.
A jackpot occurs when no one from across the country matches up the winning numbers. This run now enters its sixth week.
"It's really exciting to see the jackpot climb to $80 million for the second time in five months," Lotterywest spokesperson Lisa Williams said.
"We've had a fantastic year welcoming WA players to the Winners Room and the excitement is already building for next week.
"Jackpots always generate a high level of excitement and provide the perfect opportunity to get together with family and friends to share the cost of a ticket and the fun of the win."
The record for WA's largest Lotto win was broken last year by a syndicate from a northern suburbs gym who won $80 million.
Earlier this year Powerball reached $120 million and the jackpot was shared equally between a WA syndicate from Kalgoorlie and a player from NSW.
This Powerball jackpot run to date has seen almost $10 million raised for the Western Australian community through the Lotterywest grants program
Tickets for next week's $80 million Powerball jackpot are available from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
