OZ Lotto has jackpotted to an impressive $50 million.
In 2021, OZ Lotto produced three OZ Lotto Division One winners who shared in $40 million worth of prizes.
Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said it was around this time last year that WA took home the biggest OZ Lotto prize for the year.
“In February 2021 a northern suburbs couple took home the entire $30 million OZ Lotto Division One prize pool, and a further two OZ Lotto winners were produced during the year totaling $40 million, which was an amazing result,” she said.
“The start of 2022 has also been impressive with more than one winner every week becoming an instant millionaire.
“Since the start of January, five WA winners have won more than $1 million and we’re hoping that this OZ Lotto jackpot will produce a few more.”
Despite no one matching up the winning numbers for the Division One prize, there was one Division Two winner produced from Newsxpress Armadale Central, now worth just over $23,000.
“A third of all profits raised from this OZ Lotto draw go towards Lotterywest’s grant program, which is a massive win for WA community groups,” Ms Coleman said.
Tickets for OZ Lotto’s $50 million jackpot are available until 6pm draw day in-store, online or via the app.
