Million-dollar Lotto luck strikes Broome and Booragoon

Western Australia’s Lotto luck has stretched from Perth to the State’s north after Division One tickets, each worth just over $1 million, were produced in Saturday night’s draw.

One of the winning tickets sold at The Broome Pantry and Lottery Centre in Broome, is worth $1,074,388, while the one sold from The Lotto Lottery Centre in Booragoon, holds a $1,052,281 prize.

Both prizes remained unclaimed.

Owner of the Broome store, Dean Cooper, said he had customers lining up in front of his store before opening yesterday.

“To say excitement is surrounding the town is an understatement,” he said.

“This is a great start to 2021!”

The latest wins have taken WA’s Division One winners’ tally to six, with these winners sharing in over $8 million in prizes.

There are two chances to win big this week, starting with tomorrow night’s $10 million OZ Lotto jackpot, followed by Thursday’s $20 million Powerball jackpot.

Tickets are available until 6pm jackpot day from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
