Get ready for an $80 million jackpot week!

Western Australia has been struck with jackpot fever this week, with a combined $80 million of prizes on offer over the next three days.

Tonight, will see a $20 million OZ Lotto jackpot drawn, before an incredible $60 million Powerball jackpot on Thursday.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said close to 700,000 tickets across the State were expected to be purchased in both draws.

“The bigger these jackpots get, the more popular they become so our advice to players is get your tickets early, with the busiest time for ticket sales between 4pm and 5pm the day of the jackpot,” she said.

Ms Compagnone said WA had already been home to 50 Division One Lotto winners this year, two of these on OZ Lotto.

“It was less than two months ago that an Armadale man in his 20s collected almost $6 million on OZ Lotto, the largest for our State this year,” Ms Compagnone said.

“If a single ticket takes home either of these jackpots, not only will we be looking at the biggest win for WA this year, it would be the biggest win in over two years after a single mum of two took home a $20 million prize in March 2018.”

All available profits raised from Lotterywest tickets in both jackpots is also set to raise a combined $4 million for the Lotterywest COVID-19 Relief Fund.

“Not only will thousands of West Aussies take home prizes in these draws, thanks to people buying tickets, millions of dollars will help those community groups most impacted by COVID-19,” Ms Compagnone said.

Tickets for both jackpots are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
