Powerball has jackpotted to an incredible $80 million bringing next week’s total jackpot offering to a whopping $130 million.
This is only the third time in the past two years that both games have had a combined jackpot of $130 million or more.
The highest combined jackpot amount for both Powerball and OZ Lotto was $160 million in September 2019.
Over past four and five-week respective jackpot runs for Powerball and OZ Lotto more than 400,000 winners have shared in more than $8 million worth of prize money.
“This has been wonderful news for the WA community,” Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said.
“Not only have we been able to share such a significant amount of prize money to WA players over the jackpot runs but it has meant that nearly $7.5 million has been raised for the community through our COVID-19 Relief Fund helping those most in need.”
Combo packs for both next week’s OZ Lotto and Powerball are $30 and can be bought until 6pm on the day of draw from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
All available profits from Lotterywest tickets contribute to the COVID-19 Relief Fund which will help those in the community impacted.
