Canning Vale millionaire thanks to Monday Lotto

There’s a new millionaire in town, thanks to last night’s Monday Lotto draw.

The Division One prize, which is yet to be claimed, was sold at Market City Lotteries and News in Canning Vale.

The win means 53 WA players have shared in more than $102 million worth of Division One prizes in 2021.

The winning numbers were, 18, 26, 31, 41, 42, and 16.

Market City Lotteries and News owner Ahmed Kahn said he was thrilled with the win, especially since his store recently underwent a fresh new look.

“The win has been a nice reward for all of us after moving into our new shop,” he said.

“It will keep us motivated to keep selling tickets to get more winners through the door,” he said.

Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said WA has had an impressive run of local winners this year.

“The good news about Monday’s new millionaire doesn’t end there with last night’s draw also producing two Division Two winners from WA,” she said.

“These tickets, worth more than $13,000 each, were sold from Kooyong Newsagency in Rivervale and Mt Barker Newsagency.

“And let’s not forget about this weekend’s $20 million Saturday Superdraw.”

Tickets for the Superdraw are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.

Ends.
