Are you Riverton’s missing $613,000 Lotto winner?

Lotterywest is on the hunt for a missing Division One Lotto winner who is yet to claim a prize of just over $613,000.

The three-month-old winning ticket was produced in a Saturday Lotto draw held on 4 April 2020 and purchased from Willetton Newsagency in Riverton.

Manager of the store Ray Xu said the missing ticket had been a hot topic of discussion among his customers.

“We’ve had people asking about the ticket regularly,” Mr Xu said.

“We just keep reminding everyone to spread the word to family, friends and whoever they know just in case they have tickets they may not have checked or have ones they’ve forgotten about.”

Mr Xu said it was the first Division One win for the store in the 10 years as manager and was hoping the prize could be delivered to its rightful owner.

So far this year, WA has produced 41 Division One Lotto winners who have shared in almost $47 million worth of prizes.

Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said while Lotterywest was eager to ensure all lottery prizes go to their rightful owner, the good news was that all unclaimed prizes go back to the WA community.

“It’s a win, win for WA with all unclaimed prize money directed to local not-for-profit community organisations through the Lotterywest grants program,” she said.

The ticket holder has 24 months from the date of the draw to claim the Division One prize from Riverton.

This weekend is another chance for Western Australians to win big with the $20 million Superdraw. Tickets are available up to 6pm on draw day in-store, online or via the app.

WA players can become a Lotterywest member to register their tickets and secure prize payments.
