One Western Australian will be celebrating in the sun tomorrow after taking out a share of tonight’s $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw.
The State’s winning ticket, sold at Carnarvon Lottery News and Gifts, is worth $2.5 million and was one of eight winners from across the nation.
Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said so far this year had been a strong one for WA Lotto winners and comes just one month after a northern suburbs couple took home the entire $30 million OZ Lotto jackpot.
“It’s shaping up to be an incredible year with 16 Division One winners to date,” she said.
More than 300,000 WA players also took home a prize tonight, including 26 Division Two prizes each worth just over $9,000.
The winning numbers were 22, 32,13, 8,19 and 9.
Thanks to those players that entered the Superdraw, nearly $3.5 million has been raised to contribute to the Lotterywest grants program.
The next chance for WA players to win is in Tuesday’s OZ Lotto $5 million draw.
Tickets are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
