A $20 million gift for Father’s Day

Tomorrow’s $20 million Superdraw Saturday is on so beat the rush, grab a ticket and make Dad’s day with a chance to win.

Lotterywest estimates more than 400 tickets every minute will be sold between 11am and noon on Saturday.

Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said that data showed the most popular ticket type for the past 10 Superdraws was a Slikpik.

“While the game has different ways to play, our records show that all of our past 10 Superdraw winners won on either a Slikpik 12, Slikpik 18 or a Slikpik 25 ticket,” she said.“

A Slikpik 25, for example, gives you 25 games and costs $20.65 so you don’t have to spend too much on Dad to give him a chance to win.”

Ms Coleman said that in July’s Superdraw, nearly 300,000 West Aussies took home prizes totalling $3.5 million.

“Saturday Lotto is our most popular game and when its prize pool gets bumped up from an estimated $5 million to $20 million, like in tomorrow’s Superdraw, it’s really exciting for our players,” she said.

More than $3 million is expected to be raised for the WA community through Lotterywest’s grant program.

Tickets are on sale up until 6pm on draw day via the app, in-store or online.
