Minister for Volunteering Don Punch has today announced a $425,000 Lotterywest grant to help celebrate and recognise Western Australia's 1.5 million volunteers.
The funding has been awarded to Volunteering WA to administer a small grants scheme of up to $1,500 for organisations to host an event or activity to celebrate National Volunteer Week.
In 2024, more than 300 WA volunteering organisations will share in $335,000 through the Volunteering WA National Volunteer Week Grants, to celebrate and recognise their volunteers throughout the week.
