22 years of support for Anzac Day commemorations

Lotterywest is proud to support the 2022 Anzac Day commemoration events across Western Australia.

Minister for Defence Industry and Veterans Issues, Hon Paul Papalia CSC, MLA recently presented a Lotterywest grant for $896,908 to the Returned Services League of Australia WA Branch towards the delivery of the Perth Dawn Service, Gunfire Breakfast, Street Parade, Perth Concert Hall Service and over 90 metro and regional events across the state.

Lotterywest and Healthway Chief Executive Officer, Ralph Addis said Lotterywest has been proudly supporting this national day of commemoration since 2001.

“The day is a chance for us all to acknowledge the sacrifice and service of our ex-servicemen and women and current defence force personnel,” said Mr Addis.

“After two years of public Dawn Service cancellations, we’re pleased to help RSL WA host Anzac commemorative activities in metro and regional areas across Western Australia.”
