Two tickets, one from NSW and one from Victoria have each won a $40 million slice of Powerball’s $80 million Division One prize tonight.
While no one in WA was able to match the numbers for a Division One prize, 336,826 West Aussie players took home prizes across the other divisions worth a combined $5.8 million.
“Thanks to WA players, over $15 million has been raised from this six-week jackpot run,” Lotterywest spokesperson Lisa Williams said.
“This money will support the WA community through Lotterywest's grants program,”
"When you play Lotterywest games, the money stays in WA.”
Last year alone saw more than $313 million returned to WA community groups.
