A ticket from Western Australia matched the numbers to win a $20 million share of last night's $80 Powerball jackpot.
Lotterywest can confirm the Division One winning ticket is not registered to a Lotterywest membership, was sold in the metropolitan area, and is a single-entry ticket.
The winning ticket was one of four across the country and becomes WA’s second Division One Powerball win of 2025 after a trio of friends took home a $30 million Powerball jackpot in April.
Along with this $20 million Division One win, WA players are also celebrating prizes across the other divisions including one Division Two ticket worth more than $29,000.
The Division Two winning ticket was sold from Bridgetown Newsagency.
The good news for WA continues with more than $15 million contributing to Lotterywest’s grants program, thanks to this six-week Powerball jackpot roll.
A Lotterywest grant of $2.65 million has supported the Dawesville Community Centre, now officially open, providing a space for the local growing community to connect and access activities.
As the Division One prize is $20 million, Lotterywest will hold off sharing the exact location of where the ticket was sold, a policy which encourages the protection of the player.
