Three Australians have shared in Powerball's record-breaking $150 million jackpot.
Although no Western Australian was lucky enough to take out tonight’s multi-million dollar jackpot, local players picked up prizes across Divisions Two to Nine sharing in almost $9.3 million.
This included one WA Division Two winning ticket, worth nearly $126,000, bought from The Lucky Charm News Noranda.
“While we would have been thrilled for WA to have taken out the Division One prize, the good news is that more than $26 million has been raised over the nine-week jackpot run to support the WA community through Lotterywest grants,” Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said.
“When you play Lotterywest games, there is a ripple effect that benefits the entire community.”
More than one million tickets were sold across WA for tonight’s Powerball jackpot.
Tonight’s winning numbers were 26, 4 17, 5 18, 8, 31 and the Powerball was 9.
The next chance for WA players to win big is this Tuesday’s OZ Lotto $15 million draw.
Tickets can be bought until 6pm day of draw from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
