Powerball jackpots to $150 million

Powerball has jackpotted to an astronomical $150 million, the second highest jackpot on record.

No ticket across the country matched the numbers needed for a Division One prize over the past five weeks, resulting in the game jackpotting.

Lotterywest Acting CEO Jeremy Hubble said next week’s Powerball draw will equal its second biggest jackpot in the game’s history.

“The last time Powerball jackpotted to $150 million or higher was in October 2022,” Mr Hubble said.

“This upcoming draw is a wonderful chance for players to join a syndicate, which means they can share the cost of a ticket and possibly the joy of a win.”

Next week’s draw presents another chance for a local ticket to create WA Lotto history.

Currently, Powerball holds the record for WA’s biggest win, which has stood since 2021, when a group of 55 women celebrated an $80 million Powerball prize.

If a single winning ticket from WA takes out next week’s draw, it will easily surpass 2021’s record.

Tickets for next week’s $150 million Powerball jackpot are available in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App until 6pm on Thursday.
