Powerball climbs to $80 million

Powerball has powered to an $80 million jackpot for the first time in 2022 and the second time in just two months.

While no one across the country matched tonight’s winning numbers, more than 220,000 WA winners shared in nearly $4 million worth of prizes across the other Divisions.

“It’s really exciting to see this jackpot climb higher, giving Western Australians the chance to dream really, really big,” Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said.

“$80 million is the fourth largest jackpot in the more than 20 year history of Powerball and it would be amazing to see a WA winner take out the prize for a second time in the space of only a few months.

“Tonight’s jackpot captured the imagination of players across the State, with more than half a million tickets purchased.

“Thanks to those players that supported the jackpot over the last five weeks, Lotterywest also raised $9.4 million to help the WA community.”

The next chance for Western Australians to win big is Saturday’s $20 million Superdraw.

Tickets are available from Lotterywest until 6pm draw day in-store, online or via the app.
