OZ Lotto syndicate share just like picking fruit

Increasing your chances in tonight’s $30 million OZ Lotto draw could be as easy as picking out your favourite fruit.

One successful Lotterywest retailer names his syndicates after fruit or cars so that his customers can remember their preferred entry.

Shan Iddamalgoda from Good Fortune Lottery Centre in Maddington said he promotes syndicates because it’s a great way to boost your chances without breaking the bank.

Last Saturday one of his syndicates won Division Two.

“This is our first Division Two win of the year, however last year we had around six winning syndicate tickets,” he said.

“We name our tickets after fruit or cars so it’s easy for our customers to remember; they come up to us and ask for a strawberry or a Ford.

Last Tuesday’s winning syndicate was a System 8 entry which means the syndicate won Divisions two, three and four, turning a $23,000 prize into $29,000.

Lotterywest Spokesperson Jennie Fitzhardinge said the month of May has been kind to Western Australian players.

“May has seen a Division One winner in every Saturday Lotto draw, so we are hoping a WA player can claim tonight’s $30 million OZ Lotto jackpot,” she said.

“We are also waiting for our two Saturday Lotto Division One winners to come and claim their prize of more than $790,000 each.

“The two lucky Saturday Lotto tickets were sold at Archer Street Newsagency in Carlisle and Woolworths Karratha.”

OZ Lotto tickets are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest retailers, online or via the app.

Players are encouraged to play responsibly and spend only what they can afford.
