Regional Development Minister Don Punch officially opened Railside Park at a ribbon-cutting ceremony today, celebrating the new precinct in Waroona's town centre.
The Cook Government has invested $4.4 million in the project, previously known as the Waroona Community Precinct - including a 2021 election commitment of $1.3 million along with additional funds of $2.42 million to meet project cost escalations.
There was also a $450,000 contribution from Lotterywest, along with $248,570 from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
