As Lotto players get ready for the biggest week of jackpots offered across the nation this year, Lotterywest has revealed some of the luckiest Lotto locations and winning numbers.
According to Lotterywest, 31 Division One winners have been produced in Western Australia this year and some suburbs across the State have been experiencing Lotto luck time and time again.
“Leading WA as our luckiest locations to date in 2018 are Perth, Palmyra, Success and Victoria Park which have each delivered two Division One winning tickets,” Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said.
“Perth has been particularly lucky with one of those tickets holding a $20 million prize – the largest WA Lotto prize won this year.”
Lotterywest has also revealed some of the luckiest winning Lotto numbers for the year.
“Across all of our games the number 31 has been the most popular winning number drawn 80 times,” Ms Compagnone said.
“This has been followed by 4 (drawn 78 times), 9 (drawn 76 times), 23 (drawn 75 times), 24 (drawn 73 times) and finally 2 and 34 (drawn 72 times).”
This week, $100 million worth of jackpots will be offered across OZ Lotto, Powerball and the Saturday Lotto Superdraw.
Excitement starts tonight with a $40 million OZ Lotto jackpot. This will be followed by Thursday’s $40 million Powerball jackpot, and the $20 million Superdraw on Saturday.
“It’s certainly expected to be a busy week with around 1.5 million tickets to be purchased in WA across these draws,” Ms Compagnone added.
Tickets are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or through the app.
