The Winners Room at Lotterywest HQ has welcomed a second Secret Harbour couple in less than a week.
The woman, in her 50’s, turned her $10 Mega Word Play Scratch’n’Win ticket from The Lucky Charm in Secret Harbour into $100,000.
That same store also sold a Saturday Lotto Division One prize worth more than $647,000 this week.
“My husband was working away at the time, so I decided to keep the news from him until I picked him up from the airport,” the winner said.
“He thought we had won $1000 before he put his glasses on.”
The couple now plan to buy a new car and mattresses for their children.
Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said it’s been a sensational run for WA players.
“Maybe it has something to do with the weather, but it’s been raining winners this week,” she said.
“We are still on the lookout for the final Division One winner from Saturday’s draw, and the numbers were matched to an online account.”
Lotterywest’s purpose is to build a better WA together by raising funds for community groups through its grants program.
