Premier Mark McGowan joined Kalamunda MLA Matthew Hughes and representatives from the City of Kalamunda to turn the sod - marking commencement of construction of the new Kalamunda Community Centre.
The State Government contributed $3 million to the project, with another $2.5 million provided through Lotterywest, bringing the State's total contribution to $5.5 million.
