WA’s latest multimillionaires from Exmouth and Helena Valley

If your parents invite you out for breakfast in the coming weeks, it may be to tell you their owners of a multimillion-dollar Saturday Lotto ticket.

The Helena Valley couple’s ticket from High Wycombe News and Lotteries is now worth $2.5 million.

“The retailer told me to come out the back after I scanned my ticket,” she said.

“I had the shakes when she told me the news, I have the shakes now in the Winners Room and I’ll probably have them again when I tell my kids.”

The owner of the other Division One ticket produced in the same Saturday Lotto draw has also come forward, going to an Exmouth local.

The ticket from Exmouth Newsagency and Toyworld was also worth $2.5 million.

The winner said he ‘honestly had no idea’ as to how he will spend his new found fortune.

“I’m still in shock,” he said.

“It’s going around in my head; maybe I’ll need to go on a holiday to work out what I would like to do.”

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said there’s more opportunities for Western Australian to play.

“Cashcade is back for the upcoming Monday and Wednesday Lotto draws,” Ms Compagnone said.

“This means if no one wins the Monday or Wednesday Lotto Division One prize, Divisions Two to Six will share in $1 million.”

Players are encouraged to play responsibly and spend only what they can afford.
