WA’s winning $25 million Powerball ticket location revealed
WA players are encouraged to check their Powerball tickets, with last week’s $25 million Powerball prize remaining unclaimed.
Lotterywest can now reveal that the winning ticket was sold at Garden City Lottery Centre in Booragoon and the ticket was a Slikpik 30.
Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said Lotterywest can’t wait to hear from the Division One winner who may be unaware of their life-changing win.
“Check your fridges, check your gloveboxes, dig to the bottom of your handbag – a West Aussie who visited Garden City Lottery Centre and bought a Slikpik 30 ticket for Powerball’s $50 million jackpot is sitting on a $25 million prize,” she said.
“It’s been an amazing year for WA players, with this win the State’s third significant Powerball win of 2025.
“The last time WA celebrated three Powerball wins in one year was a decade ago, making this win even more exciting for the State.”
Owner of Garden City Lottery Centre, Fiona Ly, said this was the first major prize that her store has sold.
“We couldn’t believe it when we heard that the $25 million Powerball prize was sold at our store,” Ms Ly said.
“There are so many customers that pass through our store, and we have no idea who has purchased this life-changing ticket.
“I’m so happy and excited for the winner and I hope they come forward soon.”
The WA community benefits from each Lotto ticket sold in WA with all available profits going back into the community, and this five-week jackpot run raised more than $10.3 million for Lotterywest’s grants program.
A Lotterywest grant of $2.8 million is supporting the City of Melville to revitalise a community open space on the Swan River and celebrate the area's Noongar culture.
This weekend WA players have the chance to become a millionaire thanks to Saturday Lotto. Tickets are available until 6pm on Saturday in-store, online or via the Lotterywest App.
