South of the river share Saturday Lotto joy

23 November 2020

Western Australia has added another three Division One winners to its 2020 tally thanks to Saturday Lotto.

The weekend’s draw saw two Saturday Lotto tickets, one from The Lucky Charm Baldivis and the other from newsXpress Mandurah, scoop a Division One prize each worth almost $550,000.

The good news didn’t stop there with a Lotterywest membership online player matching the numbers to a Super66 prize from the same draw, worth almost $25,000.

Colin Kerr from newsXpress Mandurah said it was great to be back on the winner’s board.

“It’s been a while between drinks for us, our last win was back in 2016, so it’s nice to be back,” he said.

“Earlier this week we had a player win a decent prize on a Scratch‘n’Win ticket and to follow it up with this is special.

“We’ve had a few people come in and check their tickets but there’s been no news yet.”

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said WA is now home to 71 Division One winners so far this year and this weekend’s upcoming draw, Million-Yeah Saturday, could see that number grow.

“Million-Yeah Saturday, will give players the chance to be one of up to 10 millionaires,” Ms Compagnone said.

“If there are up to ten Division One winners, we’ll boost their prize, so they take home at least $1 million each and if there are more than ten winners, the $10 million prize pool will be shared between them.”

Tickets for Million-Yeah Saturday are available from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app until 6pm draw day.

Thanks to those that purchase Lotterywest tickets, all available profits are returned to support the WA community.
