Two lucky Western Australian ticket holders are the State’s latest Saturday Lotto Division One winners, each set to take home over $1.6 million.
The tickets were purchased in Perth’s southern suburbs, at Nextra Harrisdale and Spearwood Heights Newsagency and were amongst 12 winning tickets nationally.
Owner of Spearwood Heights Newsagency, Anton Hamdani said spirits were high after selling one of the million dollar tickets.
“This is a dream that we sold it,” he said.
“It’s proof you should never give up trying.”
Lotterywest spokesperson Jennie Fitzhardinge said it’s been a lucky run for Western Australia ticket holders in recent times.
“February has seen a Division One winner for every Saturday this month so far,” Ms Fitzhardinge said.
“These latest winners have bumped our 2019 Western Australia tally up to 11 Division One winners.
“As well as last weekend’s two winners, we’re still waiting to hear from our second Set for Life 1st prize ticket holder.”
“Our advice is simple; make sure you check your ticket because you just might be holding a million dollar ticket.”
