Powerball jackpots to an eye-watering $150 million!

Powerball has jackpotted to a record-breaking $150 million and with it Lotterywest invites Western Australian players to give themselves a chance to make their dreams real.

“Once again 2019 has seen Powerball reach recording-breaking territory,” Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said.

“Large jackpots result from the high numbers of tickets sold, making the prize pool larger every week a prize is not won.

“As this Powerball jackpot continues to grow, so does the number of people playing – this is new territory for us and excitement for next Thursday’s draw is set to be massive.”

Over the past eight weeks of this jackpot run, WA players have raised an estimated $20 million for the community through Lotterywest’s grants program.

“Last financial year, Powerball raised about $84 million for Lotterywest’s grant program and players won $97 million across all divisions,” Ms Coleman said.

“When you play Lotterywest games, there is a ripple effect that benefits the entire community.”

The winning numbers were 27, 28, 10, 20, 11, 30, 31 and the Powerball was 2.

Tickets can be bought until 6pm day of draw from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
