Powerball has jackpotted to an incredible $100 million for the first time since November 2024.
Next week’s $100 million Powerball jackpot is on offer after no ticket from across the country matched the numbers to secure a Division One prize over the past four weeks.
Lotterywest CEO Colin Smith said if a single WA ticket takes out next week’s entire $100 million Powerball jackpot, it would be WA’s largest Division One prize on record.
“WA’s biggest Lotto win to date is an $80 million Powerball prize, which was won by a group of 55 ladies from a gym in Perth’s northern suburbs in December 2021,” he said.
“When jackpots reach these heights, it’s a great opportunity for players to get a syndicate together with family, friends or workmates, to share the cost of a ticket and hopefully the joy of a win.”
“All you need to do is gather a group of players, decide on spend per person, and head to your local retailer to set up the syndicate.”
In tonight’s draw, more than 159,000 WA winners shared prizes across other divisions, including two players who won Division Two prizes worth around $121,000.
Thanks to Lotterywest players and the retailers that sell Lotterywest games, this four-week Powerball jackpot run has contributed $3.4 million to Lotterywest’s grants program.
A Lotterywest grant of $12,924 is supporting the Blackwood Dungeons and Dragons Winterfest with storage, volunteer expenses and heating for the two-day event in Bridgetown from 19 to 20 July.
Tickets for Powerball’s $100 million jackpot are available in-store, online or via the Lotterywest App until 6pm on Thursday.
