Powerball has jackpotted to $40 million

Powerball has jackpotted to an impressive $40 million.

The most recent Powerball jackpot win was by a Sunshine Coast local woman who took home a cool $60 million last month.

“We can only hope that WA has some Lotto luck this time around with a chance to pocket $40 million,” Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said.

“When jackpots climb to these high numbers, a great way to play is with a syndicate ticket so you can share the joy and the winnings.”

While no one had the matching numbers and the Powerball needed to win Division One, one lucky WA winner took home more than $59,000 in Division Two.

When you play in WA, the money stays in WA.

Tickets can be bought until 6pm on the day of draw from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
