Not a trick but a treat - Saturday Lotto just got $20 million bigger

While you might be gearing up to roam the streets for a bit of trick or treat fun, Saturday Lotto is offering the best Halloween treat with its $20 million Superdraw.

Saturday Lotto is Western Australia’s most popular game – last financial year 51 Division One winners shared in $55 million worth of prizes.

Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said getting in early to buy a ticket was key.

“What could be scarier on Halloween than missing out?” he said.

“We’re expecting 700,000 tickets to be sold in this draw and the busiest time for our retailers is on Saturday between 10am and 11am with nearly 500 tickets per minute expected to sell, so get in quick.”

Mr Mooney said another haunting fact was that Lotterywest HQ was still waiting on a Saturday Lotto winner to come forward from April.

The ticket was sold at Willetton Newsagency in Riverton and is worth $613,000

“We are encouraging people to check their wallets, car glove boxes or under that pile of bills in the study so we can meet them and give them the best treat of all,” he said.

Tickets for the $20 million Saturday Superdraw are available up until 6pm tomorrow in-store, online or via the app.

The Superdraw is expected to raise more than $3.5 million, which will go back to supporting the WA community via our grants program.
