One Western Australian’s life is set to change mid-week thanks to Wednesday Lotto.
The ticket from Nextra Cloisters in Perth matched last night’s draw numbers and is now worth $1 million.
“If you bought a ticket from our store in the past week, I’d recommend checking it before your morning coffee,” Store Manager Jess Hagan said.
“It’s great to see this win create some buzz in the CBD, and we’re all excited.”
Lotterywest spokesperson Hermione Coleman said WA is now home to 45 Division One tickets sold in 2020.
“We can’t wait to welcome the owner of this ticket into our Winner’s Room,” Ms Coleman said.
“It’s exciting to picture the owner discovering that their ticket is now worth $1 million, it could be life changing.
“Also, by playing Lotterywest games, the money goes back into our State through the COVID-19 Relief Fund.”
The State Government, through Lotterywest, is committing $159 million into a COVID-19 Relief Fund to respond to the hardship being experienced by the Western Australian community as a result the COVID-19 pandemic.
