Lego Land leisure for Set for Life winner

Western Australia’s latest Set for Life 1st Prize winner has already made two lists about to what to do with his new-found fortune.

The man in his 20s purchased the ticket from Wongan Newsagency, and now will enjoy $20,000 a month for the next 20 years.

“I would have been happy with winning $10,” he said.

“On my ‘silly’ list is a plan to go to Legoland and buy $20,000 worth of Lego.”

The apprentice said he planned to continue working even with the life changing win.

Lotterywest spokesperson Jennie Fitzhardinge said that was what Set for Life was all about.

“Winning Set for Life is the perfect prize for young players as $20,000 a month for 20 years is a great way to enjoy the winnings over an extended time,” she said.

“The fact our most recent winner says that while the win is life changing and will give him a comfortable lifestyle, that he will continue to work, is what this game is all about.

“This win was part of an amazing weekend for WA with a lucky mum taking a $3.3 million share in Saturday Lotto’s Superdraw.”

A Set for Life ticket is entered in seven draws in a row, so players can start at any day of the week for seven chances to win.

Since establishment in 1932, Lotterywest has been able to provide more than $8 billion to WA lottery winners and more than $5 billion to support the WA community.
