Is karma the cause for May’s Lotto lucky streak?

The month of May continues to be a lucky streak for the State, with another two Western Australian ticket holders claiming the  numbers for a Saturday Lotto Division One prize.

The two tickets worth around $790,203 were sold at Archer Street Newsagency in Carlisle and Woolworths Karratha.

Tony Nguyen who owns Archer Street Newsagency believes exceptional customer service has helped the universe send good karma his customer’s way.

“This is our third Division One win over a two-year period, it’s a great feeling,” he said.

“We pride ourselves on good service and in doing so we believe the good karma comes back onto our customers.

“We have had customers come from as far as Ocean Reef and Lesmurdie to buy a ticket from our lucky store.”

The winning numbers were 1, 11, 35, 44, 29, 18 with supplementary numbers 28 and 38.

Lotterywest Spokesperson Jennie Fitzhardinge said there are a number of chances for WA players to continue May’s winning streak.

“Tuesday Night’s OZ Lotto draw has jackpotted to $30 million,” Ms Fitzhardinge said.

“Every Saturday Lotto draw in May has seen a WA winner, so we are hoping our run of luck continues into this week.

“Our latest two winners have taken WA’s Division One tally to 26 for 2019.”

When Western Australians play with Lotterywest, the benefits flow on to our public hospitals, sports, the arts, and community groups.

In the last year Lotterywest has provided more than $1.6 million in grants towards Karratha play spaces community facilities and improvements to Karratha Lotteries House.
