Could WA be home to a $100 million Powerball winner?

There is still time to pick up a ticket for tonight’s $100 million Powerball draw, presenting the chance to set a new record for Western Australia.

Around half of Australian adults are expected to have an entry in tonight’s draw, which is the equal fifth largest jackpot in Australian Lotto history.

Lotterywest Acting CEO Jeremy Hubble said it’s been almost six months since a $100 million jackpot has been on offer.

“We are hoping that after tonight’s $100 million Powerball draw, a WA Division One winner may have set a new Lotto prize record for the State,” Mr Hubble said.

“Currently, WA’s biggest Lotto prize sits with Powerball’s 2021 draw, which saw a group of 55 gym ladies share an $80 million prize.

“This $100 million Powerball draw is also a great opportunity for players to join a syndicate, with the past year seeing some of WA’s biggest wins come from syndicates, making the prize that bit more special.”

Tickets for tonight’s $100 million Powerball draw are available in-store, online and via the App until 6pm today.
