Check your tickets WA, you could be our $928,000 winner?

One Western Australian can expect a call from Lotterywest confirming a Saturday Lotto prize of more than $928,000.

The ticket purchased with a Lotterywest membership online was one of seven Division One tickets sold throughout the country for the weekend’s draw.

The WA prize of $928,717 is thanks to Saturday Lotto’s recent game improvements, which saw the Division One prize pool grow from an estimated $4 million to $5 million.

“This bigger prize pool means if more players across Australia win, each share will still be a remarkable prize,” Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said.

“The good news for WA players didn’t stop there with 14 Division Two tickets sold in this draw across several Lotterywest stores, with two of these tickets part of a syndicate.”

“The next Saturday Lotto Superdraw is now set for Halloween, with $20 million up for grabs.”

Thanks to WA players, last financial year saw Lotterywest raised a record $292 million to support the WA community.

Tickets for the upcoming Superdraw on Saturday 31 October are available from Lotterywest in-store, online of via the app.

This week is Responsible Gambling Awareness Week (19-25 October) and Lotterywest encourages all players to play responsibly. More information is available at www.gambleaware.com.au
