A Morley women's birthday present to herself has turned into a $4 million win, thanks to Saturday Lotto.
The ticket from The Lucky Charm News in Noranda was one of the three WA tickets to match the numbers to a Division One prize in Saturday Lotto's $20 million Superdraw earlier this month.
"I usually buy a ticket for Tuesday or Thursday's draws, but this time I decided to change it up and buy a Saturday ticket," she said.
"It was just a small birthday present I bought for myself."
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the 12 game Slikpik, now worth $4 million, was one of the larger WA wins for the year.
"This has to be the best birthday present for 2023," Mr Mooney said.
"WA is now home to 58 Division One winners for the year, with these players sharing in more than $181 million.
"The next chance for players to join the State's winners club is in next Thursday’s $20 million Powerball jackpot.”
Tickets are available until 6pm Thursday from Lotterywest in-store, online and via the App.
Thanks to WA players, Lotterywest was able to provide $47,000 to Western Australian Seabird Rescue for a new IT system which will help volunteers in rescuing and rehabilitating injured seabirds and waterbirds.
